His multimedia sculptures encompass and embrace a large spectrum of cultural influences as well as the physical challenges he has been confronted with over his life. Growing up in Romania without the use of his legs was especially difficult and gave him sharp insights as to where and how people are marginalized and how to highlight that. He still suffers from many social, emotional, and physical disabilities but never does he fail to capitalize upon them whenever possible, be it getting free soup at restaurants, cutting in line without repercussion, pity sex, all the way to an extremely powerful body of art.

I have recently started building furniture that will be sold at my schools annual "scholarship/fund a need" auction. All proceeds from this event go to either families that can't quite afford tuition or a larger project the school deems import for the development of the children. Last year I put two items on the block and made almost four thousand dollars for the school. Unfortunately in the process of making the items (multi media sculpture) I spent copious amounts of money due to the fact that I didn't have time to scout for found/free objects.

I feel confident that I can prove my worth to the school by bringing in a fair about of earmarked income but I would like to do it without purchasing any of the material.

This is what I have so far. All the materials in this photo were either taken by force or acquired through trade. I will keep you informed if I continue the trend or I break under the pressure of deadlines.

After much reflection, and soul searching, Timothy and I have decided to take on the huge feat of exploring Timothy's psychological condition, in which his wild wild west predispositions, emotions, and thoughts are seperated from the rest of his psyche.

The work will be a social experiment openly and publicly displaying a very private aspect of a person's life, their subconscious defense mechanisms which hide their inner most fears and vulnerabilities.

My Bus rides have been getting more involved in the past three months and I thought that I would share the reason with our viewing audience. I have been painstakingly recording how many men women and children are on the bus at any given time. This involves when the original passengers get off the bus and when new riders emerge into the scène. More than that I have taken random motion/undefined visual interactions and have started creating a body of work that is shying away from the pre-defined. I will update you in the next few days and weeks.

My greatest fear is stealing my favorite socks

I don't want to alarm anyone, including myself, anymore than need be but I feel as though I should bring something to the attention of our reader….hello Eric.

Octopi have now been documented in their ability to leave their self contained and, might I add casually, guarded ecosystems by simply crawling out of their tanks and skulking along the floor. They are noted to be pursuing new sources of nourishment and a casual but fulfilling night life.

Now, there is only one reason for me to post this new and highly disturbing fact, which would be this: Yesterday, I awoke to find the can of tuna fish that my mother had skillfully and surreptitiously placed into my man purse, torn to pieces at the foot of my bed.

At that particular moment the gravity of the situation didn't really strike me. I thought what I was dealing with was more likely than not just another installment of the Basil and Cybil Faulty drama, our resident and seemingly harmless married Rat couple. I soon found that I was more misguided than the leadership of that ever more user friendly Art Factory, the S.S. Marie Antoinette.

Basil and I were sharing last night's spinach salad when I noticed that he had trouble lifting up the tomato wedges that I had set on a little side plate as to dip in salt (a favorite little dish of mine). That got me thinking… how could either Basil or Cybil open that can by them selves? I would say that Cybil is a match for most mid-sized animals, including Raccoons and baby river otters, but tearing a metal can into twelve small pieces? It seemed a little out of their mutual leagues. I pondered this truth momentarily when fortunately, or unfortunately, the answer shuffled past my door with unwavering confidence.

You guessed it. I was now watching some local Cephalopodan taking liberty with the last morning star veggie dog and using the only clean toaster oven we have left here at washing your hands is an option hotel.

Basil and I stare in paralyzing disbelief as the beast treads down the hallway, prize in hand, and proceeds to give us a petulant glance before successfully attempting to cross Westlake and slip back into the Sound.

I am now trying to reconstruct my life with one of the only tools I have at my disposal, visual Art. So the next few weeks will be devoted to my exploration of self through my greatest of all fears; barnacles, water, eggs, seaweed, stumps, octopi, bible stories and so on.

I will keep you posted and will include any ensuing Art.

Karaoke and the Argonauts

So I was at the studio today working on some industrial dinosaur paintings and to my dismay, realized that the newest and largest piece in the series (that i have been working on for the last month) is 2 feet larger than its canvases.

Oh, what tragedy. I guess I will be spending my weekend trying to come up with a proper way to mount my 12ft by 3ft masterpiece.

So when I told my manager I was moving to nyc, he told me to give him my resume and he would see what he could do as far as connecting me with job opportunities. He came back and told me as long as I have Web 2.0 and Ajax as skills, it will be a piece of cake.

On to industrial dinosaur 2.0. The idea of industrial dinosaur started out as a way to create a community of artists and a way for people to promote and network amongst themselves. Yet 2 years later and with little support, I have decided to move to the next version where the mission will focused on purely showcasing a very select group of artists and their work.

Hopefully now the site will be good at least at that, instead of semi-mediocre at accomplishing a way broader goal.
